After imploding following the poor 5 X 3, I thought that would be tough to come back from.  However, that 3rd period was the best period of the season - they looked more like old Hakstol north-south forecheck like crazy playoff style.  Very impressive way to close out the series tonight.

They played a bit looser, which was good. A lot more offensive play, they took it to em! Refreshing

Automatic qualifiers from Atlantic Hockey etc. eat up most of bids from 13 - 16 so realistically you have to be #12 or higher to have a realistic chance of an at large bid.

Guessing here ... as the lower seed we would shoot where the visiting team shoots twice.  Just a guess though.

AH takes #16 only each year. I don’t believe any other team in that league is in the top 16. 14 and lower is typically safe. 15 if you’re lucky.

The major risks to "steal" a spot this year are NMU and either UND or CC.  Bubble teams are big fans of Denver, SC and Mankato.
