The pants look the same just different color way obviously. I think adding a black outline to the numbers and fonts would do wonders for our jerseys. Also, add the name too. Too much space on the back, in my opinion. I agree completely! I'm a huge supporter of putting last names on the jerseys. Kids work too hard to not at least get their name on the back of their jersey! 7 Quote

I would agree, no ties to the region and obviously can't pass school. The JUCCO route in recruiting is a challenge. Its frustrating when looking other rosters such as South Dakota State's roster. All the kids on their roster other than maybe one is from the upper Midwest (ND, SD, NE and Iowa) Quote
GoodGood Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Great. Mayar is ineligible, we got another player trying to pay math tutors for answers to tests, a team GPA that starts with a 2, and we still can’t win basketball games. #culture 1 Quote

I am more concerned with the quality of four year recruits being brought in. Quote
McBuckets Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Interesting stat I just saw UND is dead last in the Summit in 3point FG% with 30.0% (138-456) but is 3rd in opponent 3 point FG% with 33.2% (110-331). Not a big difference percentage wise but how much we settle for 3s vs the teams we play is crazy. Shooting about 8 more 3s than our opponents, clearly a change in our motion or even just players mindset of getting to the rim needs to happen in this second half of the season. 2 Quote
McBuckets Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I know I’ve mentioned it and others have as well but looking to push in transition or even just pushing the pace more often may help with that. 1 Quote

That is how we got a 17 point lead push in transition and points in the paint. I think the first half we shoot 48% from the field. 2 Quote

Popular Post GoHawks Posted January 8 Popular Post Posted January 8 I said in a different thread that having Nacho back is a game changer for this team. I still stand by that but with Sather coaching it does not matter who is out there. Having Danielson start is enough to see that and then add on his ridiculous play calls, rotations, ect. I mean every sport it seems at this University needs a coaching change other than Hockey! It's getting ridiculous and old real fast! Something needs to change! 1 4 Quote
SIOUXFAN97 Posted January 8 Posted January 8 did we not go after a shooter bc sather thought/thinks brady is a knock down shooter like norman was Quote

There's two possible options: 1. Brady has dirt on Sather 2. Sather just really is that bad as a coach I'm afraid it isn't the first option..... 3 Quote

He should not 1) Be starting and 2) be getting all these minutes like he is? I noticed the first rotation on Saturday that they subbed three out and he wasn't one of them? 1 2 Quote

Popular Post NewUndFan Posted January 9 Popular Post Posted January 9 Here is a article on the St. Thomas basketball team. I dont know why I am having envy over a former Division 3 school that in year 3 transitioning is fighting for the top spot in the Summit. They have a coach that knew how to win at the Division 3 level and its translating to the Division 1 era for them. I get they are in the Twin Cities, but we are able to recruit those same kids. In year 5 under Sather we are still at the bottom of the Summit League, struggling to draw a crowd. https://www.midmajormadness.com/2024/1/8/24030203/st-thomas-is-simply-a-good-division-i-program-summit-league 3 2 Quote
Kab Posted January 11 Posted January 11 4 1/2 point dogs see how they react from the debacle last Saturday time for a win can’t go 25% from the 3 and expect to win Quote
