Offensive rebounds by bison late in game were key. Some were lucky and some not boxing out was the problem. All in all Kacie might of scored a lot but did not have good game. Not much composure at times.

Can anyone there verify?

Fairly accurate.   Loudest FU person was Jory crying to the officials…….and it paid off for him.

They will in 4 weeks in GF.

And in March in SF.

It’s all talk, until they do it, much like people saying NDSU’s run in football was over.

I still say they do.  It took a bunch of free throws for NDSU to win.

It is frustrating yes.  However, this is a better team that last years.  Last years team loses this game by 10+

They will get it done.

Why didn't the tall girl play much, Vanderwaal?  That last FT rebound they got would've been a nice time for her

On the last play, UND didn't have any timeouts left so if they subbed her in and NDSU missed, then they wouldn't have had the opportunity to sub her out.

Given that Hurst is playing some minutes at the 5, hard to get her on the floor.  Would like to see her when UND is looking to slow things down.  At worse, can grab rebounds, alter shots and make some putbacks.

I watched the game and the officiating did not favor NDSU. How many FT’s were intentional fouls at the end of the game? At least 12. Kacie was completely bailed out in the 3rd/4th quarter and the drive when she had the ball on her hip. They called a foul and all she did was fall down. There was zero contact.

if you are going to play as aggressively as UND’s women play defense, expect to have more fouls than your opponent. They are constantly reaching bumping ball handlers.

Translation: If a women’s team plays defense like any other men’s team they (women’s team) will be called for more fouls.

Translation: in any kind of basketball, if you are reaching, hacking and hand checking all the time expect to pick up some fouls.

No one is arguing that. Refs just need to call it consistently both ways.  Free throw discrepancy of 37-20 in favor of FU had little to do with physical play.
