Fry Bread Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 4 and 0 is great but this game brings up some questions Quote
Popular Post UND-FB-FAN Posted March 13, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 13, 2021 Not the cleanest game by UND. There is definitely still work to be done. Need to protect the ball better. But UND was without doubt the better team today and was more disciplined than WIU. Now, the big bullseye we’ve all been waiting for next weekend on March 20th .... Go Hawks Football! 9 Quote

Sioux>Bison Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 was this game ever any closer than 14 points after half? Quote

MoSiouxFan Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 As Sic would say, we're now only guaranteed 4-4. 1 1 Quote

sioux24/7 Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 It would have been nice to really put them away earlier in the game, we had the opportunities but defense struggled and a couple of bad turnovers by offense and special teams. Overall though, the game never really felt in doubt and happy to get a W on the road. Now let’s get the boys focused for a big game next weekend. 2 Quote
Feff Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 I'm satisfied with a win this game. This was the definition of a trap game. First road game, first game outdoors, first game against non-ranked opponent, big rival the following week. This had the trappings of an Idaho St. kind of situation but the team won. 2 Quote
Popular Post Hardcore Hawk Posted March 14, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 14, 2021 This is conjecture, obviously, but I think this was a pretty vanilla game intentionally. The defense didn’t pressure all that often, we played a lot of off-coverage, and our offense was moving the ball well enough to not need to do much pre-snap. There wasn’t much in terms of trickerations, and it seemed almost like a preseason game. Hate week now, I think there will be a little more fire under their asses 5 Quote

Hate week now, I think there will be a little more fire under their asses I have more thoughts on this one too: -time for Griebel to be replaced as a returner -the screen game was definitely snuffed out -defense didn’t get home quite as well in this one, need a better effort against a better OL next weekend -for God’s sake, ball security -definitely not the same energy as when they’re playing at home in front of 3500 -All said, as long as Bubba keeps doing the Griddy, I’m happy Quote

I didn't see a moment where he got banged up (thought there was a catch where he lost his shoe but that was Weah who lost his shoe during a run) He did play, caught 7 balls for 47 yards. Quote
sioux24/7 Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 I know Paulson got banged up but wasn't aware of anyone else. Quote

When the camera went to Weah limping, I taught Weah was hurt. Then he adjusted his shoe! Quote
