He played the game well, but if it came to a fight. He was one of our toughest. Watching these games gives me a renewed appreciation for Kidd. He pretty much was the 1987 d-core. Not that Baron, Benson, Parent. etc. weren't solid but Kidd was in a class of his own. He must've been on the ice for upwards of 30 minutes a night. For the style of defense he played his mobility wasn't the greatest.

Popular Post Blackheart
After posting 90+ videos on YouTube and SiouxSports I'm out of Sioux victories. It's been a lot of fun and I've enjoyed the feedback/comments from all you hockey diehards. If you don't want to scroll through all the pages of this thread, feel free to check out YouTube... https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqgKzKhLCVfPMvbM3tEShQA/ I have to say this video was really the one that got this whole thing going so I think it is fitting to end with this one. An all time favorite, Sioux vs Gofers, 1998 at the Old Ralph.

Remember the Friday night home game against Gophers. The place was electric. Scotty and Lou Nannes kid went at it not to far into the game. They said Nannes plane was late and when he got to his seat. His kid was already there. Great memories.
