Certainly not the first time this is the case, definitely won't be the last. Sorry, but anyone who is pinning their survival in a global pandemic on POTUS is delusional. He merely inherited a role that from the country's inception has been ill-equipped (ostensibly by design) to micro-manage the affairs and day-to-day lives of its citizens, spread across an entire continent in 50 sovereign sub-units. We live in a global economy and in the jet age, and we enjoy (or used to enjoy) a free economy and freedom of movement, not to mention inalienable civil liberties. If you think the federal government could have prevented the introduction and spread of microscopic pathogens, well, I can't help you with that. P.S. - I'm no fan of Trump.
