I agree that a measure of success would be outstanding.  Everyone knows that, but they can’t give that because the situation is too fluid.

It is also so varied in the different pockets within the US, and that symptom onset is delayed from exposure.  I’m thinking we are probably 7-10 days away from getting a handle on where we sit in CA.

Did you confirm that with LeBron?

16400 deaths worldwide due to coronavirus to date.....fact.

67000+ deaths in the country due to drug overdose last year.......fact.

88000+ deaths in the country due to alcohol related issues last year......fact.

Do you need the seasonal flu numbers again too?

You can spin the numbers any way you want to if it makes you feel better.

But you cannot compare a year of deaths on one subject to three months into a pandemic.

Remember the coronavirus numbers are in addition to the flu numbers. Have you ever seen NY hospitals as overwhelmed as they are now from the flu?

We need to pay attention to how this has played out in other countries ahead of us. This isn't just magically going to go away so we need to stop pretending it will.

Those Corona death numbers are for the world.  The drug overdose and alcohol related deaths were just for the US.
I wonder if the hospitals would be as overwhelmed if the media hadn't blown this up?  We'll never know.

Dow will be below 18000 tomorrow if the Senate doesn't nut up.

A president from the Federal Reserve stated GDP could drop 50% and unemployment could go to 30%.

Did the media blow it up? Have you seen what is happening in Italy right now? New York?

Good to see the Senate is going to be part of this crisis solution.

Wind and solar energy tax credits, along with tougher airline emissions were attached to the stimulus bill, among other things.  Unbelievable.

Dont forget mandatory diversity percentages for coporate board of directors.

One of the top 3 to 4 issues that need to be addressed in an economic meltdown.

Dont get high and mighty though... 100% the other side would be sliding their own bull$%!# in if roles were reversed.

South Korea......how are they doing? Good.... right? They're the model we want to follow......right? Their death rate....1.2%.

Italy death rate.....just south of 10%.

Here in the US our death rate......1.3%. We aren't Italy. We are trying to follow South Korea.

You realize we've reacted to this much more similar to Italy than South Korea right?

It seemed like Mitch and Chuck were fairly close to a plan, but then today it appears the House through a monkey wrench in the whole thing.  Not sure why Chuck Schumer allows himself to be lead around by Nancy.

Theres going to be a mob of people who dont want society back to normal. The ones who love that there is minimal airplanes flying. They will call for another year of this (and want more businesses to close) and attack anyone (and Trump) for trying to resume normalcy.

Eventually the adults in the room are going to have to speak up though...

Lets not let the cure be worse than the problem (Corona virus)

Simple concept for some to comprehend.

Are you in the "some" bucket?
