I have regional tickets for Loveland. Wouldn’t mind seeing UND there, but rather watch them on tv from out East.

Both didn't come back tonight. Brink was a knee. My guess is zero chance he plays tomorrow.

This marks three straight league game losses for the Pios; albeit against the top two teams in the conference.

Beware of the wounded animal.  The boys need to stay out of the box, play with intensity, and send these guys back to the Mile High City smarting from a sweep.

Lots of respect between these two teams for a "rivalry."

Its nice to see a clean game with very minimal after whistle shenanigans.

Refs were way too noticeable for me in a otherwise good game.

Except when Pinto almost had a kidney lacerated on a cheap shot.

 I think he’s playing a lot better because subconsciously he knows he could get replaced by Scheel with one or two bad games, and same goes for Scheel to Thome.  Pretty good for the team to have that problem! GO SIOUX!!!

Safe to say puck handling isn't in the top 5 strengths for either goalie.

Give the DU kid credit.  Got him in the perfect spot with the corner official blinded from the play and the neutral zone reff following the puck.  

If you were sitting in section 110 you got a beaut of a look at it.

Nice win - Great effort by Thome.  Great character - doesn't get playing time for the first half of the season and works on his game and steps up when called.

Didn't quite make a sellout. Upper student section was over half empty, with a few empty sets also in the upper corners of the arena.

The student section was not there, there is a party today for students and hopefully the whole thing is full.  

As to the game, recap and look ahead are below, interesting calls and non calls, the Smith one on Brink stood out to me, diving and taking out a players legs typically gets called from what I have seen. Read for more!

This is a big game in their season to this point, since they now lost 3 in a row (two to Duluth, and the one last night).
We'll need to play very well. Win for us keeps us as a front runner.
