@nodak651 Great post. I am a big believer that the line play on both sides will be better. By how much is going to go a long way in this teams success.

Digging into the roster I knew the SR class was pretty small, but didn't realize the JR class was the same. Looking at non-specialists the count is 14 for both. Young, but talented. Excited to start getting some reports from Fall camp.

As long we win against teams were are suppose to beat (I know cliche) and then take 1-3 from the Dakota schools, consider it a decent year.

Little unfortunate the Valpo game would be a good early measure of the team instead of Kansas State.

Big 12 announced a 9+1 scheduling model, so not sure if it will be North Dakota or Buffalo.

I'll bet the UND game will stay.

Remember the NY travel ban will play a factor here.

I think the payout to UND is like 400K less than Buffalo. Pretty easy decision.

That is not good news

Would appear to indicate (to me at least) that several are still positive for the Rona or awaiting test results.

Would this be COVID relate?  Or could it possibly be that since there might not be a week 1 game (Labor Day Weekend), they can push camp back a few days?

Isn’t Gene Taylor the AD at K State? I don’t trust him to do anything positive when it comes to UND.

We know that?  Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

If we aren’t sure I prefer no guessing related to Covid. Next thing there will be no TP in the dorms.

Fair point.  As I said, just my guess.

Fall football no gonna happen.  NCAA has said "If 50% or more eligible teams in a particular sport in a division cancel their fall season, there will be no fall NCAA championship in that sport or division."  Only a matter of time until we get below 50% in the FCS.

DIII championships are cancelled.  I predict D2 and FCS to cancel fall championship and the seasons will be cancelled.  I could also see FBS moving to the spring as they have their own playoffs and championship and they have way more money to lose by canceling.

If fans are not allowed (which seems inevitable), I can't see teams at the FCS and lower levels having a season.   It's a financial call, not a safety one.

Many D2 & D3 teams barely pull 500 in attendance, especially late season games in northern climates.  Not hosting games actually might save these athletic department money

D2 follows D3.  We'll see whether that tips the FCS domino over.

UConn just scraped the entire 2020 Football season. As an independent, it's going to be hard keeping scheduled games.

u wonder if they just shut down their fb program permanently.
