brianvf Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Only 12 saves, but Scheel has made some beauties. 2 Quote

burd Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 It's been a clean series--not much cheap hockey Quote
BarnWinterSportsEngelstad Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Not a rivalry type game, kind of like playing a nice neighbor. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 That one's on Casey......31 deserved the shutout 4 Quote
SIOUXELEVENS Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Brutal turnover by Johnson costs Scheel the shut out. Quote

Wilbur Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 BSU calls a timeout, if they pull their goalie they can put six guys on the blue line. Nevermind, Poolman scores with zero guys on him. Quote

sioux rube Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Solid weekend for the boys. 4-1-1 in non conference play thus far can only help down the road 1 Quote
Oxbow6 Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Scheel didn't need to make a lot of saves but he made a number of really big ones. He was outstanding. Didn't see any passengers tonight from the 19 skaters. Everyone contributed, chipped in and kept it simple. Wasn't always exciting hockey but was a solid quality team win. 2 Quote
MDtoGF Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 RECAP: https://seamoresports.com/2019/10/26/und-sweeps-bemidji-state-now-what/ Weatherby is filling Rhett's role quite nicely with the same net front, he has had a lot of near looks this year, once a few go in, look out. A pick Sharks fans mostly hated could be the most improved player for UND this year if he keeps this up. Feedback appriciated! Quote

SiouxFanatic Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Friday’s game was undoubtedly a bad game for UND but they found a way to win which wouldn’t have been the case if it was last years team. The boys bounced back and played a pretty solid/dominant game in the series finale. Still lots of room for improvement but the potential for this team is high. 1 Quote

Only way Blaisdell or Hain should sit over those guys is if they’re dinged up. Berry is reacting tonight rather than building, IMHO... Although he also knows the status of every player, and I don Man, 16 was good tonight. Possibly his best game at UND. Great to see Pooly have an excellent game and get rewarded with the ENG after a really rough Friday. Great sweep. Keep going, boys. 2 Quote

That save to keep it 1-0 was massive, I was so bummed he lost his shutout after playing a great game. Let's keep it rolling vs Tech next week! Quote
Feff Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Fantastic game. Mismash was best player on the ice for most of the game, Scheel came up big and really deserved the shutout. Surprised that was Tychonik's first career goal, hopefully the first of many. My final thought, how good has Peski been so far this season? Rock solid defensive guy but seeing him more and more getting involved offensively. He's really developed well at UND. Quote
