Their third down defense again needs to find a way to get off the field. No answer for NDSU’s play calling.  Also, how about a few back shoulder throws against their defense with big receivers like Wanzek and Toivonen.  Again, it looked like they just wanted to try and keep it close, no really aggressive play calls.

This was my biggest take...Zim might be slower than Ketts...once again you wonder what these coaches are looking at...Brock had a little wiggle in that run. No one is going to be afaid of Zim running the ball and by the looks of it...maybe throwing too?

I don't think Freund called a terrible game.  A couple plays Zim let his WRs down.  Nice to see some movement and jet sweep action. 

Running read option with Zim isn't going to work.  If the LBs go with the running back he isn't fast enough to make a play with his feet.

Better team won by a lot.  Now for the "Butler's better comments".

A lot of season left.  This one hurts , but in the end it is only lose.  Win or lose today we have to put this one behind us there is a lot left to be accomplished.  I think most on here knew we were in trouble with our defensive line it showed today.   Need to learn from today and move on. Still pissed about flag being picked up, next play INT.  Unlikely that ball is forced like that if 1st and 10 at midfield.  Game was basically over from there.  Lots of misssd holding calls.

One school believes in continued excellence......and the other believes in continued mediocrity.  The gap is just as big as it was in 2015.  Bubba needs to go if UND ever wants to be more than a 6-5 or 7-4 team.
