Big Green Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 Probably wouldn't have mattered, but why would you not pull the goalie after giving up the SHG when still on PP. you now need 2 goals. PP goal seemed like a must. Quote
cberkas Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 Hopefully Anderson can play out of his mind for the rest of the year. 1 Quote

Ovechkin can one time it from that spot, Kawaguchi has to catch the puck and readjust to shot the puck In order for that to work, you have to cycle the puck. In order to cycle the puck, you have to gain possession. You don't see the Caps dumping the puck in on a power play too often. Quote
AJS Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 I can't get over this, score two to make it a one goal game, get a PP late with a "realistic" shot at tying it up and next thing you know, they give up a shorthanded goal / lost their goalie for the year. UND hockey these past couple years has been one long sustained nightmare. 1 Quote

Ovi is right handed on his off wing on the powerplay, Jordan is left handed playing on his wing. Put him on the off wing for a cross ice one timer. Quote

Heres to hoping Scheel is back next week and the force of Friday nights game being the pacesetter for the rest of the season! #siouxnation #mauiNDfan 2 Quote
90siouxfan Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 I'm likely out of the loop here, but why Bob? Where is the new guy? Quote

UNDBIZ Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 Our goalie coach knows something about playing as a walk-on. Quote

SIOUXELEVENS Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 This train wreck will be over soon after Tonight’s development. Quote
tnt Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 Wonder if Berry puts the whole problem with the power play as execution. Will he make changes a year too late like Bubba Schweigert did, costing us a chance at success. Even when they score on the power play it isn’t from sustained zone time. It doesn’t pass the smell test, as even when Western didn’t score last night, it seemed like every power play they were all over us. 1 Quote
Hawkster Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 I apologize for questioning the need to bring in another goalie earlier. WTH was I thinking? 1 Quote
runaroundsioux Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 And of course, Denver wins. This night just keeps getting better. Quote
OgieOgilthorpe Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 I’m seeing this as a blessing In disguise. Now with no goalie they’ll get skull f’d the rest of the season so there will be heavy pressure for change. I was worried they might bleed this along and just barely miss the playoffs which would lead to another season of this next year. Quote
