Rock bottom Don't really have to hope they lose. It's inevitable at this point. We all knew that the Jacks were gonna win and likely roll us this weekend. We are 10 point dogs at home against the Yotes this weekend. And does anyone think we are going to beat a likely 8-3 Illinois St team on the road the last game of the season?!! This team is going to end the season 5-7, losing their last 5 games. 1 Quote

Six years later, scary but possibly we may be in the same situation if/when a new DC is hired and we go through the emotional roller coaster for another six years all over again. Quote

Firing the DC and keeping bubba would be about as clueless a move as an AD could make. 1 Quote

Popular Post Goon Posted November 16, 2024 Popular Post Posted November 16, 2024 We cannot continue this S-Show. This was a four alarm train wreck. I usually don’t leave games early, but today our group did. 5 Quote
Popular Post AJS Posted November 16, 2024 Popular Post Posted November 16, 2024 I’m fully in the open it up to a national search. Anyone who has coached w/ Bubba previously need not apply. This program needs a COMPLETELY fresh start. 7 Quote
90siouxfan Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 Who should replace Chaves? As bad as Bubba stinks up the place, this is Chaves mess. Maybe replacing should reach even higher... is the president safe from scrutiny? 2 Quote

President Armacost is by far the best President since Tom Clifford. Looking at the more important issues, Enrollment is growing, donations are up, new buildings and remodeling continue and our national reputation grows and the legislators seem to respect him. He isn’t going anywhere. Presidents this good are hard to find. 12 Quote

sioux24/7 Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 I just wish bubba wouldn’t have tarnished his legacy and stepped away on his own terms. 2 Quote

I knew when I posted this that saying legacy wasn’t going to be well liked. I still think he did good for the university and elevated the program but we got to a point he couldn’t exceed. I mainly meant where he didn’t go out with such a bad taste in everyone’s mouth. 1 Quote

Now regressing. Quote
