The Chiefs would be headed to the Super Bowl if one of their defensive linemen hadn't been lined up in the neutral zone on the same play that Brady threw a pick late in the 4th quarter with Chiefs in the lead. When you get Brady and the Patriots down, you better finish the job. KC found out the hard way what happens when you don't.

Or hope for a miracle...a Miami one.:D

Now that conference is a joke. Niners, and Cards are pathetic and Seahawks have fallen from their powerful state. All divisions change powerhouses. Where was New England in the 90’s, 80’s and 70’s?

And where have Miami, the Jets, and Buffalo been since about 1993?  Can you name a worse division in football than the AFC East?

Better team won...KC defense can't stop anybody.

Fine to say the KC defense can't stop anybody (admittedly they ain't da Bears) but at same time the Pats only gave up 6 less points than KC allowed so they didn't exactly stifle the Chief's offense.

So, since 2001, the Rams (2X), Cardinals, 49ers, and Seahawks (2X) have all been to the Super Bowl.  Now I realize that the divisions have realigned since then, but contrast that with the current AFC (L)east...

I tip my hat to the Pats for their sustained success in this day and age, remarkable really, but it sure helps when you play in a piss-poor division and play those teams 6 times every season in grabbing home field advantage as they're nearly unbeatable at Gillette Stadium (realizing they played at Arrowhead yesterday).

Guessing you meant AFC East, Mafia Man?

Well, New England was in the Super Bowl in 1985 and 1996, so there’s that...

Worst 'non-call' in NFL playoff history.....Drew Pearson 'push off' on Nate Wright....you millennials may have to 'google' it.....crushed Vike fans....

And then the ref that missed the call at Metropolitan Stadium was hit on the head with a thrown glass whiskey bottle.

The Patriots are on a two decade run the likes we've never seen before, and likely won't see again.  It's basically 2 automatic losses for the rest of the division, so there's that.

New England struggles at Miami. Lost to a miracle this year and lost to Jay Cutler last year.

Boring game....lame 1/2 time show...Gladys 'rocked it' with the anthem..."Home of the Brave" was a stirring ending along with the flyover....goose bumps for all except for ' Siou-sie puck faces' who cling to their outdated, bastardized ending.... FB and BB crowd  has moved into the 21st Century on that........

Julian Edelman...from PED user and known cheater to Super Bowl MVP...all in the same season.

Nice job, NFL.

Should have been the goat when he tried to short hop a punt that ended up a chief td, but, on an unbelievable lucky bounce, it somehow does not hit him, as the replay showed. Bonehead to mvp in a couple weeks

He served his time, why shouldn’t he be MVP?  Somebody had to be MVP of that horrible game.

That game is just football moving to what soccer, and sadly hockey, have become:

Low scoring defensive mindset stalemates where the games are not decided by talent but by "a bounce".
