DAR Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 Dogs will be a tough out. I can easily see them winning the national title again. Good in all areas. Quote

cberkas Posted March 24, 2019 Author Posted March 24, 2019 St. Cloud is my pick followed by Duluth then Mankato. Quote
DAR Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 St Cloud has no tournament pedigree same with Mankato....Both have been high seeds upset in the first round. We shall see if this year is any different. 2 Quote

Langster019 Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 I know some may not be a fan of this thinking, but I’d still like to see NCHC win the natty this year. Idc who just keep it in conference and keep our league tops in the country. 4 Quote

Wilbur Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 Who I hope for in order: 1. Mankato 2. SCSU 3. AIC 4. Notre Dame 5-14: Teams not named Duluth or Denver. 15. Denver 16. North Korea 17. Duluth 3 Quote
dden3 Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 Different level of hockey played last night by Duluth and St Cloud than North Dakota the past few seasons. Duluth looks like old tyme Sioux hockey. 4 Quote
Big Green Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 1 St. Cloud 2 duluth 3 mankato 4 bowling green 5-13 who cares 14 Notre dame 15 Ohio st 16 Denver Quote
Godsmack Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 I knew I made the right choice rooting for Duluth last night when, in the late stages of the first overtime, a St. Cloud fan was in such a hurry to get back to the game, he runs by me in the concourse, gets to the stairs leading down to the seats, and cuts in front of another guy who was waiting for a stoppage in play. The guy rightfully said something and this St. Cloud guy started giving him attitude. I thought a fight might break out. Nonetheless, I hope that St. Cloud guy got an unobstructed bird eye view of the game winning goal in the second overtime! 1 Quote

Clark17 Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 How are the regional pairings at the frozen 4 determined? I assume it’s a rotation from year to year? From what I could find it looks like west and mw are on the same side meaning SCSU n UMD can only meet in the semis. Quote

Do I think they have a legitimate shot? Nope. But I think they have long been the forgotten team of college hockey. It's one hell of a cinderella story just for that team to make the tourney. Quote

Clark17 Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 Who remembers the 1984 title game? Not sure if it was live or replayed when I watched it. I was pretty young but remember watching it. Quote
