I don't see any mention on REA's social media pages (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) about the ice coming out. They normally post pics.

It was on here under the social media stuff, was an Instagram pic with the Bobcats out on the ice.

The REA said they were taking it out and had pics of it being removed.

I saw this also but when you looked at the dates the posts were from last summer.

Didn't the Engelstad Foundation edow a bunch of WIH schollies?

If they did I never heard about and it's not reflected in an UND financials I have seen.

Well Kennedy could have done it by himself and then got shouted down for being a dictator and have the faculty raise hell for not involving them.

The problem with this was there was no winning way out of this.

I agree with you. But this should have been done last fall and not kicked down the road.

i find it hard to believe they could have handled this process worse

They couldn't have yet this really isn't a surprise to many.  Handling any "process" properly is not a skill UND's administration does well.

I thought it was early for them to take the ice out, but with the men's team done I could see why they said it.

Another source and idk if this is true as he has been unreliable

we will still have women's hockey However no schollies

seems like the scholarships would be pretty low on the list of expenses given all the other expenses that come with hockey

I would think the scholarships would be the least costly of the entire sport.

Just curious, how much money would that actually save? I honestly don't know, is the big expense with WIH the scholarships or is it the travel and everything else?
