I'm not sure why anyone is surprised. Professionalism is not his forte. Heitkamp is a weather vane. Nothing new to see here...just another day in the Fargo media. Very strange how his tone has changed. He used to mock their fans when at 790 and try to get them riled up but now its all positive or nothing at all. He is kissing NDSU butt big time because he is trying his best to get all NDSU fans to make sure they come over to WDAY to listen to his show. He his building his fan base. President Kennedy handled the answering of questions perfectly. McFeely almost seemed to be threatening Kennedy to not say that UND was the flagship station of the state anymore, and he called the President "PAL ", I would think that President Kennedy must of been thinking who is this Bozo. McFeely sure knows how to make a good first impression. President Kennedy took the high road but must of been laughing at him. McFeely calls the new President PAL for no reason. He should be very proud. Welcome to the Fargo media. It is fun to think about how differently that interview would of been handled if that were the new NDSU President.
