While I played basketball for the Sioux in the early 1980s, and graduated from UND, I must admit I don't spend much time following the current UND sports teams.  That does not change the fact that I think changing the team name sucks, both in the concept and the execution.

I like including the flame in the logo and the eye (one of the most important parts, IMO) looks pretty good too.  Something about the beak and the flare off the back of the head is throwing me though.

Not saying this is perfect, but it's more towards a geometric type logo that I'd prefer...
