Au contraire.  I can confirm that Sonic tastes much better than both tires AND hot tubs.

Order a burger a little too late on a slow night, and the tire comparison could be too close to call...

No.  We have not.   Watch them on Midco all the time though.

BTW, by any chance did I meet you and your son standing in line at the Red Pepper the weekend of Sept. 8-9?  I remember striking up a conversation with a man and his son from South Dakota that were in Grand Forks for a youth hockey tournament.

That was not us, but we have been up in GF 5 times over the past couple of years for hockey games, tournaments, camps.  Regular enough I know the town pretty well now!

Ok.  I don't remember for sure where they were from; it may have been Watertown.  Hope you're able to catch the UND/Minnesota games on Midco this weekend.  I was only able to get SRO tickets, but I'll be driving up from Kansas City to catch both games plus the FB game.

I believe the Hub is the oldest bar in GF.  Not sure on restaurant?  Italian Moon maybe?

Edit:  The Kegs would probably be the oldest restaurant in GF.

Is the Hub still around?

New owners (Joe & Blackmun), new name (Hub Pub) and redesigned interior (which isn't unusual for restaurants/bars).

Does it still qualify?

Anyone ate at vinyl taco yet? wondering how the reviews are..

I thought it was decent.  I haven't been to the Fargo location, so cannot compare, but I had a couple of street tacos - both were good.  Great music and atmosphere.  Friendly staff.

Hope it opens for lunch soon.
