SiouxScore Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 How many coaches before Hak had the new Ralph to recruit to? No coach has had this kind of a draught of National Championships at UND since before the 1980's and they were working with the Old Ralph and no one was calling the Old Ralph the best hockey facility in the country college or pro. The Old Ralph was one of the better facilities early when it was being used. The new Ralph is a great facility but its not like UND is the only one who has something like that now as many college hockey programs have similar facilities. If you really think the Ralph is untouchable compared to other facilities you need to go take a look at some of the other ones, the Ralph is my favorite but that is because I'm a Sioux fan and truthfully there are many other facilities right up there with the Ralph. Matt Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Kind of like your FB program, right? Track programs? Softball, Baseball, and soccer. Maybe you should be looking closer to home? Feel free to make your case on those topics in their respective threads. #changingthesubject Quote
Matt Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Was. The key word is "Was". With Walseth and a new arena, that will change quickly. Overpaid? No, $150 allows you to bring in a quality coach and insure relative equity between the mens/womens programs. Good move NDSU. Was? Oh yes, it must be a distant memory since the Walseth presser hasn't even taken place. 1 Quote

And we won two NCAA titles in the "Old Barn" (a.k.a. The Winter Sports Building), which was a WPA project completed during the Great Depression. Quote
UND Fan Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 If you guys want to debate SU coaching/salary issues or talk about the new/old Ralph, why don't you do so on some other thread (preferably not a thread on SS.com). The topic of this thread is UND Women's buckets - let's talk about that rather than this crap! 2 Quote

Cratter Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 I just realized something. Travis Brewster's first name isn't Travis? Quote

Travis Brewster obviously doesn't fit this category). The latest one is the comedian Carlos Mencia (Mind of Mencia) real name is Ned Mencia. Found this out while listening to Joe Rogan's podcasts...which led me to this gem. Quote

SiouxVolley Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 He might have an option at Charleston Southern, his alma mater, but that’s about it. He’s dug a hole for the program to get out of. 1 Quote
