3rd string goalie.  Same role he had when he won a title with us.

That's how Ed Belfour won Olympic gold with Canada in 2002. (Brodeur and CuJo played all the minutes.)

Given recent news, that is not all they would take.  ;)

Geez that’s a heck of a night for sure.

Most points in a game since Sam Gagner had 8 points in 2012, according to NHL Network. Also said it was most points in a game in Jets/Coyotes history.  Nice feather in his cap.  Hopefully Jake can keep the nice Schmaltz weekend going tonight.

When Tony Hrkac went 2-5-7 and then 3-5-8 one weekend (against CC or Tech I think) for the 15 point weekend, Gino said:  that's a career for some guys.

Tony Hrkac is still the best I've ever seen at UND.

He still holds the record for points in a season, a record that will not be broken.

Nick Schmaltz already with 3 more points tonight in the second period.

Make that 2 goals, 2 assists after 2 periods.

Oshie with 2 goals and an assist in an OT loss to Edmonton, scoring in the last second to tie it.  Brad Malone with a goal and an assist for Edmonton, his first NHL goal since December 3, 2015.  That’s perseverance.
