The only positives you can take is the younger guys returning and coaches use it as a massive learning experience and some of the younger guys who were 50/50 signing pro versus returning are convinced to return because they likely aren't ready to play in the A, let alone in the f**king NHL

Jackson Blake had 1 full year of dominating the USHL and 2 great years in the NCAA post draft, so he had more experience before signing. Reschny will still be 19 and Verhoeff just 18, I don't think they're ready to sign pro and play in the A.

We did have the 7th best PP in the country for the season. It was a bad night on the PP and kinda matched the rest of the game. Exciting times ahead with this group and staff!

Or Zellers scores on the breakaway or if the team scored on any of the PP’s. If they got just one goal back instead of under a minute left in the 3rd, could’ve been different game.

They beat us in every facet of the game. Good job Wisconsin. Good teams make inferior teams look bad. THE BIG 10 is obviously the super conference. 

Glad to see ND hockey back, but a very disappointing performance

This one hurts, but because we thought we had more talent than we do.  Lousy PP and overrated D cost us. Too much standing around the first 10-12 minutes. Not covering and watching will get you beat every time.  Wisconsin played well. It is a team game and it could have been worse or it could have been better, but our talent especially on D is not necessarily better.
