Interesting first round games.

Duluth - PSU.  Star power vs the relentless Sandy postseason machine.

MSU - UConn.  Not your average four seed, as they ran into the hot goalie, but showed an overwhelming attack at times.

WMU - Mankato.  Last year Mankato took this game to 2OT, and Western has arguably taken a step back.

Staggering the regional schedule times deserving as well & doubtful the Lacrosse crowd will miss their open table dinner reservations for our game so no worries.

We do the FF each time we win in. It’s my bday wknd & 2016 + continued therapy, & this fun group to watch has my attention. ❤️road tripping but 1 game atta time boys!

Agreed, however if they can't win on Thursday maybe this whole program would need to be fired.

I don't think so. Jackson and his staff have done way more in a single season than I thought possible. We are in good hands now.

After reading the geniuses from the East on Twitter not being able to understand why the whole tournament isn't scheduled around what is best for #14 UConn, I have come around to their way of thinking and have worked up new brackets for the NCAA.

1-Michigan vs. 13- Mankato

4-WMU vs. 5-Denver

2-UND vs. 12- Wisconsin

3- Sparty vs. 8-UMD

A lot of it coming from Providence fans. This is the first time their team has been shipped west for a regional since the tournament went to 16 teams. 🙄😂

Funny thing is that these teams will be on their charter flights for a shorter time period than UND will spend on their bus from Grand Forks to Sioux Falls.

Agree, I would be devastated if we lost the first game this year, but I know Dane would be even more pissed and work with Chyzyk and his staff to remedy any of their shortcomings.  Before the year, talk of Vegas seemed like a pipe dream, and just getting a competitive roster would have seemed like a win for the program, so imagine having more time to drill down on roster upgrades, and having the program back in a spot to be attractive to recruits.
