UND Football Fan Posted yesterday at 04:14 AM Posted yesterday at 04:14 AM We need a strong start, so that doubt sits in on their side. Looking at ISU Red game SDSU is big, if we play fast and agressive we should off set that and win by at least two scores if we play clean. They blitzed a lot against last week, I’m sure they will try again to throw Jerry off. ISU Red was able to get solid runs on the perimeter and up the middle. I think Jerry can hurt them with his scrambles. Hopefully we can get the run game going. It will be closer just because I can’t imagine them starting this game as putrid as they did last week plus their playoff hopes are on the line. 2 Quote
FSSD Posted yesterday at 05:26 AM Posted yesterday at 05:26 AM SDSU is dangerous because they have nothing to lose. A team in that mode can be very dangerous. There is a lot of talent on the SDSU team. They can not be overlooked. 2 Quote

AJS Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Let's get dramatic, what's on the table. Playoffs: Win and you're in. Loser out. 8-4 record vs 7-5: There's only so many games. 8-4 is a positive step no doubt, 7-5 is more of the same Let's go! Chance to finish the regular season with at 8-4 and a Top 15 season. Also, can be the team that prevents SDSU from making the playoffs. I have this theory with these programs that after last off-season there was a great reset. Can UND overtake SDSU? Just win, but also, get Jerry back on track. Hoping to feel good about this program a week from now heading into the playoffs. Quote

Dustin Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago 8-4 does sound markedly better than 7-5. We'd definitely be limping into the playoffs at 7-5, if we were even selected. Let's take care of business at home. 3 Quote
Wilbur Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I'd think that you've got to have playoff mindset going into Saturday. Then again, the rabbits are reeling right now, and are in the same scenario where they've got to win the game to get in. Earlier in the year I thought SDSU may struggle with the changes made, but they proved me wrong and got to 7-0. Shows the importance of quality QB play and how it just goes so far in your entire team mentality. You hate how one injury can have such a big effect on a team, but they are exhibit A right now. What is Chase Mason's availability? 1 Quote

Honestly, I would anticipate 100% that he plays and only be surprised if he’s not playing come game time. The playoffs start on November 22nd…. Big boy football upcoming in the Alerus Center. What is Chase Mason's availability? Izzo's podcast they said Chase didn't even dress last week. They raked SDSU for being evasive about the extent of the injury. Kolpack said UND was in win or lose - but as we've said we ain't losin. I really want to tailgate on Thanksgiving weekend in Grand Forks (but I'm okay with a bye also). 2 1 Quote
