No thanks. I like Bubba, but the guy couldn't run a successful football team and we want to hand him a whole department of athletics. Not interested. Give me someone with a little more background, potential and longevity.

Bubba is better off being a fundraiser and ambassador for UND athletics.

In today's world an AD needs a business degree (with a poli-sci minor) more than coaching experience.

Neither Feeney, nor Jerry, nor Simon, were ready 2 years ago.  Many people thought Feeney would start last year. Some thought Jerry would.  The staff decided Simon gave them the best chance last year.  

Coaches have decided Jerry gives them the best chance to win this season just like last year when they thought Simon was the guy.  They don’t play someone cuz of where they are from. 
 

Rather than continue the recurrent complaints about last year maybe give it a rest and focus on how Jerry can help his receivers be better and lead a team with an experienced oline, a bevy of good receivers and RB’s to a successful season. 
 

 

 

 

With a new coaching staff perhaps we see some situational QBs. If JTJ really has tough running ability he takes smaps when the sitatuion fits. Would love to see Simon on the field in a "Let's get ready to Romfro" formation.

Be careful what you guys wish for.  It is gonna be ugly on Saturday and the foreseeable future.  You let a defensive coach make offensive decisions and bad decisions will be made.  It’s gonna be hard on any QB, run game will be fine, passing game you can talk about QB’s all day but the WR/TE’s are not good it is gonna be a struggle all year.
