There’s nothing wrong with that play…it’s bang bang…Cloud guy going for the puck and TJ covers it up in a split second before Cloud guy gets there, in fact so split second that he actually dislodges it because TJ didn’t have time to secure it…another split second later Livenavage clips him racing back and that actually causes the contact…TJ over sells it to the point he damn near injures himself. If this play happens at any level but college it’s dealt with on the ice but you have goalies and coaches trying to sell it because of instant replay…begging for a major…it’s a farce and it’s ruining college hockey. Any other level of hockey and it’s a non issue; but after a great game and effort by the home team this will be the focus and talk of the town…a nothing play that wouldn’t even be a blip on the radar at any other game at any other level. 1 14 Quote
Wilbur Posted December 14 Author Posted December 14 It's officially find a way Saturday. Whatever you can do to win the game this evening. Play it like a playoff game. Got to get three points. 2 Quote

That was an awful play. To get very specific, the crease is the goalie’s. You enter there at your own risk. 4 Quote

Win, it’s absolutely doable, plus set yourself up well in the league. Quote

Win has to put them near 20 I’d think which, I agree, is entirely doable if they get most of their veteran scorers back. Going to need an entire team effort just like last night. Quote
datameisterq Posted December 14 Posted December 14 OK, Max'd out the credit cards to put SCSU on the moneyline. It seems I will be the king of the NIL Collective after tonight. I'm going to bring in some Eastern European lads. They can deal with the cold and desolate country. Plus, I hear they like Red Pepper. Quote

Do you ever watch hockey? Players can almost just look at a goalie wrong and there will be a reaction from their teammates. Quote

Lose all your money one night, then gamble with credit the next — brilliant! 1 Quote
Wilbur Posted December 14 Author Posted December 14 Guy hits goalie earlier, guy lined opposite goalie's roommate on a faceoff with under 10 seconds to go and game decided..... I wonder what was going to happen.... 1 Quote

No intent to injure…coming left to right (not directly at the goaltender) and playing puck…no contact to head…contact caused by our #4. Now if he gets his ass kicked in for that I have no problem with that but calling it dirty and begging for a major and video review is what I have a problem with. Refs obviously agreed as no major was accessed. 2 Quote

If you go forward a half second or so he hits the goalie in the head right before #4 makes contact or as he just touches him. Not enough to push him into the goalie. Cheap play 1 3 Quote
SiouxScore Posted December 14 Posted December 14 Really ugly first 10-15 minutes but steadied after that and made enough plays to get the win. Perron had some absolutely great chances that you can't believe he doesn't finish. Quote

When a goalie has nearly bled out in the crease, and a player recently died from a skate cut...I don't blame him for freaking out when he saw a skate hit him in the face. I'm sure he was scared of worse case scenario, judging by the way he threw off his mask to check for blood. 1 Quote

I didn’t think his skate contacted him and I am still not sure after watching it again, but if it did you have a valid point for sure. Quote
brianvf Posted December 14 Posted December 14 Jammer possibly skating tonight? He's listed as extra skater with Andrew as extra skater in warmup, I'm guessing in case Jammer can't go. Otherwise same lineup as last night, but with Monty listed on 4th line instead of as extra skater. 1 Quote

.357 Posted December 14 Posted December 14 Unfortunate that Andrew has to possibly be the odd man out tonight after his strong play lately on that 4th line. 1 Quote

I loved that goal he scored last weekend at Miami. At first it looked like he was attempting to do the lacrosse scoop and score but then decided to backhand it in. And I think his goal came shortly after Miami had scored. Happy for the guy. Quote
