It also could expand the game. It's not a bad idea, us being UND fans, wouldn't like it because we expect National Titles. Where a LIU, most of the CCHA, and AHA this is something they'd look forward to.

That’s a murderous 10-game stretch when they get back from the break, but it will offer big time pw opportunities.

The what ifs never make sense to me. Can easily go the other way and say what if we don’t come back from down 2 goals against Miami late in the 3rd and win in regulation?  What if our dmen dont make 2 goal line saves last night?

The more the season goes on the more I'm convinced that the team is TJ's and will go as far as he takes them.  Doesn't seem like the coaches have much faith in Hedquist, and thus we've seen more TJ.

Guessing next season we see another portal goalie to go along with Heil and Hedquist.

If that happens, I think Hedquist will be "Headed" (pardon the pun) for the portal.

This fixation with portal players is not good for the program.

Well college hoops also has the CBI (College Basketball Invitational) for teams not selected for the NCAA's or NIT.  Maybe they could add a College Hockey Invitational as well.  Everyone could see the rematch with Robert Morris.

There’s still a chance that Heil plays another year of juniors too. 
If the coaches think that Hobie can take the reins, then maybe Hobie/Heil/Huson.

If not, I’m guessing they delay Heil and it would be Portal/Hobie/Huson.

Heil seems to be have playing well lately so that's encouraging at least but you goalies are always tough.
