I was concerned, and I think justifiably so given the unknown replacements, but so far Fruechte and Olson have far exceeded expectations. With all that said, the schedule finally gets tougher now. Road games and top dogs in the conference are up ahead … UND needs to show they’ve found solutions for their road woes or else it’ll be same ol’ same ol’ 7-5 ball club. Are we getting this Or Jake the Milkman Milliman. Historically it's been the Milkman on the road. 1 Quote

Nodak78 Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Simon moving up the line. Now #59 Mark Gronowski is #64. Who would have guessed that in the start of the season. 59 Simon Romfo North Dakota Jr. QB 5 125 67 5 940 7 127.25 Quote

Different if Danny went FBS as a vertical move and didn't take a starting O-line plus tried taking Jerry with him. That said, our schedule gets a "little" tougher here on out. Any details you can add on him trying to poach Jerry? Guessing not but had to ask. Quote

zonadub Posted October 2 Posted October 2 ok, but 67 completions in 125 attempts (54%] vs 90 for 115 (78%) hit a couple big ones to skew the yards per completion. 7.5 yds per attempt (Romfo) vs 9.9 yds per attempt (Miller) still not bad for Romfo 1 Quote

In the last 2 games taking out the 4 long TD passes to Bo Simon is....10 for 29 for 201 yards. If he can hit on a couple of long (45+ yards) TDs passes to Bo UND will have a shot. Quote

I'm more concerned about his legs. Simon has been dealing with 7 to 9 in the box since Iowa State. That is why he has had some deep balls. Bo has helped us more than we ever dreamed. OC is on fire. siouxfan512 Posted October 3 Posted October 3 Listening to the podcast, and there is quite a bit of talk about facilities. Hoping that means we will get to see the team in a sweet room on ESPN during the selection show getting announced as a high seed. Would be nice to see some pictures of the offices and team rooms if they are online anywhere. If anyone has a link, please share it. 2 Quote
