Do we really want him again. There is a lot of baggage with him.

Yes, UND 100% wants the guy who has been publicly badgering the head coach on twitter, and making false accusations about him after he signed an extension. That is exactly the guy UND wants to have on their team.

Can he help the team win or not? Fits the 4 man role great! We win more games with DAE on the roster.

If DAE wants to come back to UND then you take him. That's the saying right??

All players are equal, on and off court?

The answer to your first question is: No, he can't help the team win.

I don't judge a mistake a 22 year old made while going through some real trauma. Mistakes happen.

DAE is the missing piece. Would be best available player we could get with the 1 remaining scholarship. Bring DAE back home!!

The problem with your statement is that he's not a good player. He's an average player with giant off the court issues.

Congrats on doubling down that people shouldn't take your takes seriously.

Its one of two things. Either you really believe this, which is frankly fairly ridiculous given how he left and things he's accused the coach of. Or you know its ridiculous and are trying to get a cheap laugh at his expense. Not a good look either way....

While I’d prefer him to stay, with the the recent additions we will be okay. He might have been off the bench at this point anyways. Still sucks though but yeah use the two open scholarships wisely.

If Tyree isn't eligible next year we currently have 0 PG's for next year. This is not a good thing at all.

He might play point guard but is he a point guard?

He is a PG.

1- King, Ihenacho, Eaglestaff

2- Eaglestaff, Danielson, Brooks

3- Omot, Danielson, Brooks

4- Mayar, Omot, OPEN SCHOLLY

5- T, Mathews- OPEN SCHOLLY

If Ihenacho doesn't get a waiver we currently have 0 legit PG's and A TON of non-shooters. We have a lot of athletes however! That is good compared to recent years teams!

Going to have to switch the play style completely from the end of last year and what worked, shooting a lot of 3's. Going to need to create a lot of easy transition layups!

I’m not saying King is a “true PG” but was Trent either? I wouldn’t say he was an extraordinary passer.

Being a PG isn't just about being a good passer. It is getting the team into their sets and offense. It is setting the tempo. Setting the tone for your team. Knowing when your team can push it in transition or when to slow it down and get a good shot. It is knowing when/where to get others involved. Plenty more.

As @GoodGood stated above there was a night and day difference in all of that when Trent was in vs when Treysen or Brooks or even Danielson tried to do it. From what I have seen, heard, and know of King he is more of a combo guard that can bring the ball up.
