So much for the "convincing sweep".

It was convincing, just not in the goal dept.
Final SOG 34-18 UND, which is pretty indicative of the play, especially in the 2nd & 3rd.
Just need to find a way to win in regulation...both tonight and last Saturday against SCSU.

We were lucky to not get shut out. If they'd reviewed the first goal it could have been waved off; Schmaltz was in the crease and making contact.

CC was lucky that 2-3 of Gaber's four pipe shots didn't go in the net, otherwise this looks like an easy win.

We don't need to worry about PWR anymore.
Just worry about the NCHC standings, where we unfortunately just dropped another point.

That potential trip to St Cloud is a major buzzkill.

Yeah that'd be my last choice of those three for sure.  I'm thinking it'd be over in 2 games on SCSU's big sheet.

And it might be uglier than the last visit to the Granite City.

You said it. We have sure been snakebit these last 2 games otherwise would have had 2 regulation wins each by 2 or 3 wins.

Interference not called in Gaber on the winner. I’ll take it!

Facebook page strangely silent on the state of NCHC officiating when blown calls favor North Dakota…

Is that a win win in the pair wise or diminished?

It's diminished in the PW (2/3) if it's an OT win (1/3 for OT loss). It matters to some degree but going into the weekend we had a 2% chance of an at large bid so it's not impossible, but the conference tournament is more likely at this point in time.

NCHC officiating was focused on sticking it to WMU last night.

I didn’t see the interference, was it before they were in the zone? They could have called something on Jandric, but three on three they don’t seem to call little stick work much unless the guy goes down.

They also could’ve called a hold on Laba as he had a handful of Blake’s jersey on the goal.

Yes, personally that is another reason I hate the 3x3, because refs don’t want to call anything unless totally flagrant because they know that a 4x3 power play could very well decide the game on a ticky tack penalty.

I meant Jandric. Saw the number wrong live.
