Wish we could just skip the NCAA Tourney because I may puke if UM, DU or MI win it. Gross. I'm ready to see next years roster and schedule. Really needs guys like Gaber and Blake to keep doing their thing. Would like to see James keep going with the momentum he was getting at the end of the season and Mclaughin needs to put on a little weight. For all the critics, we've seen the parity in college hockey. A few of those one score games that didn't go our way this year, could easily flip next year and then you're well within the tourney. Coming into UND in 2003, I didn't even realize the stretch of incredible teams I was watching. The NCAA Tourney was a right, not a priveledge and the Frozen Four was more often than not. All teams have some down years, but hopefully UND can right the ship and be a little more consistent with their tourney appearances and tourney success. Goaltending being the exception have you ever seen a year where there is either no Forwards or no defenseman that are available? My suggestion would have been to spend last year recruiting at least ONE defensive player that could have stepped into the line-up this past Fall. Need two defensemen now from the portal. Let's hope they nail the portal this time. Maybe it's a defense of the guys we did get from the portal in Farmer and Sidorski? Farmer was inconsistent, but Sidorski was our 3rd or 4th best defensemen for most of the season. Point still stands, I would have liked to have more than just Cooper Moore coming back for 23-24. I would like to see this team get down to 15F so they would be at that right now. Still waiting on Caulfield / Albrecht. I would think that 3 would have been the ideal # this off-season.
