TwamleyShuffle
Any suggestions for streaming to watch the Friday game on CBS Sports Network? I believe Fubo has CBS Sports Network, but are there other platforms I should consider?

Popular Post brianvf
Griffen Ness staying the course at UND. These stories are becoming quite rare with the transfer portal: https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/in-the-current-college-hockey-era-players-like-griffin-ness-are-dwindling?fbclid=IwAR2DVD3mTgS1ZlTEcbNc07g6cj8sPUlhU5AheUfDxQ2MRyRAbswRUAP2E90 Quote The 6-foot, 184-pound forward from Wayzata, Minn., has been in-and-out of the lineup for four years. His minutes have been sporadic when he does play. But he never entertained the idea of looking elsewhere. "I love it here way too much," Ness said. "Obviously, someone has to do that role. It's not the most fun. You don't get talked about the most. You're in and out. But someone's got to do it. Someone's got to be here. I just try, when I'm called upon, to help my team win every time." Quote "Guys love him," Berry said. "Guys see what he does in practice. Guys see what he does in games. Guys see what he is when he's not playing. He's such a great teammate. He's such a valuable part of our team. A lot of guys get exposure and notoriety on a nightly basis. He's a guy that doesn't get that. But, I tell you what, championship teams are made up of guys like Griffin Ness." 2
siouxfaninseattle
This is probably a "duh" thing but I'll put it out there. This year's team is winning by scoring on absolute snipes. Last night is a good example. The goals by Ness and Blake were perfect shots, right in the corner. Lots of goals this year just like that, and under the crossbar and just inside the pipe. Quite a change from last year.

On his goal, Ness’s release looked exceptional.
90siouxfan
someone pointed out that a snipe that hit iron and went out would be cured by using smaller nets.... could that actually be a thing? I mean we have an altitude room to deal with 2 opponents, why not nets for practice that are 3/4" smaller than regulation? Would it hurt the goalies? Oxbow6
This team from a pure entertainment perspective is so fun to watch. There have been many Berry era teams that were less enjoyable than watching Bob Ross on PBS.

brianvf
Quote UND's run without a regulation loss is at 19 games, two shy of the program record. Oh man, a good weekend in Miami and we could be seeing history here. That's awesome.

Upperclassmen with experience and skill playing 4th line and 3rd pair minutes. Thinking back to 2016, 2000, 1987 a common ingredient is team first guys in those roles. This UND team seems to have it too.

brianvf
14 league games down, 10 to go. UND with a 4pt lead on SCSU and a 9pt lead on CC/DU. 3rd thru 6th is a cluster with only 3pts separating CC, DU, WMU, and UMD. If there's a year when it would be much more beneficial to finish 1st rather than 2nd or 3rd...it is this year. Playing Miami in the 1st round of the playoffs as opposed to UNO, UMD, WMU, etc would be much preferred.
