Well that was a bad loss. Goalie made some acrobatic saves but looked off the whole game. Dzone coverage is atrocious.

Can’t see any way they make the NC$$ tourney based on pairwise. We’re 23 games into the season and our defense and goaltending has shown no improvement, probably has actually gotten worse after this weekend. Don’t see them turning this around. This is all on Berry and the coaching staff. Either poor coaching or poor talent evaluation and recruiting, take your pick or all of the above. Very disappointing.

He is a 3rd string practice goalie.  I think he provided some energy that was worth a goal or two but eventually things happened as you’d expect them to.

Playing prevent defense with a lead almost always prevents you from winning.

They provide most of our offensive chances. But yes. They need to work on the other end.

This just isn't a very good hockey team and it starts with not having a capable D1 goalie on the roster. Scored enough to win but dzone is a problem and you won't win many college hockey games when your goaltender allows a weak goal let alone 3.

Berry is now gonna have the program at a point of missing 3 of the last 5 NCAA Tournaments which just isn't remotely close to good enough. It is time to make the move.

I f you think back to the 2016 team Berry did the prevent defense in the 3rd vs Denver in the semis and it almost cost us the game. I hate that coaching strategy.

It seemed like from about the 12 minute mark to the 9 minute mark in the third, we didn’t once get the puck out of our own zone. There were several face offs and we either lost most of them or we lost the 50/50 puck battles.

This is 100% correct.  How in the world has it gotten to this?

"How many goals do you think Johnson will give up tonight" a friend asked me when word got out.

Minimum 5 I said.....guess I was wrong again.
