So why write that people on here prefer no personal responsibility if you have read it?

Because many on this thread would throw personal responsibility out the window if it meant going back to how things were before 2020.

If you check he said mail in your vote and then try to vote on election day to verify they received the mailed version. (NC will stop you from in-person if they've already received your mail-in.)

Unless you may have wanted to cancel your first vote and vote again, in some states?

To sum it up:  mask mandates were somewhat worthless this entire time.  It will now take a lockdown to achieve what we were told could be achieved via mask mandates and social distancing.  As evidenced by the states that are spiking the exact same as their neighbors that didn't have any mandates.

I would rather be 10-12 feet away from someone with neither of us wearing a mask than sitting across a table from someone with both of us wearing masks.

Unless it is still in the mail?

And the (correctly working) systems will reject a mail-in that comes in after an in-person.

Well Fauci stated today due to the development of vaccines "it's  not going to be a pandemic for a lot longer".

But feel free to carry in with your modeling assumptions  forming realistic death counts.....or just lead us all in the singing of "O Canada".

Wait, so now we're listening to Fauci? I get confused on who's right, who's wrong, when we should count votes, when we shouldn't, etc.

2020 is quite the conundrum.

A vaccine or vaccines was always the way out of this......you even knew that.

For thought:

Might Manitoba need to lock down because their medical infrastructure can not handle the stress as well as American structures?

He's one of the money men behind the Democrats platform. That's common knowledge.

Those who have been listening to his every change of opinion likely need to hear him say it may not be a pandemic much longer than the ones who haven’t listened to him.

One could argue that those that have questioned him vocally believed that it was not going to last long to begin with and saw this coming.......vaccine or no vaccine.  Timing certainly is important as he could have stated this at the end of October when it was known a vaccine was coming by December or sooner.  Certainly would have changed the “dark winter” theme

No different than the Democrat theories on Murdoch and Koch.

My favorite thing about both parties is how they turn otherwise reasonable people into loons.

It's more fun when the "other side" has a bogeyman*.

What are your thoughts on Obama deporting significantly more people per year on average than Trump has?

Please stop, Obama changed the way he counted deportations. Just change the language to make your case.  From Liberal Snopes

During the third and final presidential debate on 19 October 2016, Republican nominee Donald Trump remarked that President Barack Obama “has moved millions of people out … millions of people have been moved out of this country.” As of 2015, more than 2.5 million undocumented persons had been deported by immigration authorities since President Obama took office in 2009, a total which was statistically record-setting. During the two terms of Obama’s predecessor, President George W. Bush, just over 2 million people were deported.

However, that statistic is somewhat misleading, as a significant portion of it was due to a change in the way “deportations” are defined that began during the Bush administration, not in the actual number of persons turned out of the U.S. As the Los Angeles Times noted, if not for that change in definition about what constitutes a “deportation,” the Obama administration likely would not have been a record-setting one in this area:
