UND1983 Posted July 5, 2020 Posted July 5, 2020 ACA is an issue for prescription drugs IIRC. My uncle pharmacist tried to explain to me why the price was so high for a drug. Cant quite remember why but caps were lifted on pricing for certain classes I believe. Maybe somebody on here could clarify? I just remember being stunned by the price.

Cratter Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 Am I really to believe there is no more coronavirus in Manitoba? Or virtually none?

The one question he did agree on is what had been stated here many times, most vulnerable stay at home and least at risk get back to work and school.

Might be safer wearing a bullet proof vest than ppe.

Kab Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 Serious question so the nfl is going to play the black national anthem at some games i didn’t know they had one, guess that’s my fault what would happen if there was a white national anthem and would they let that be played this is going to far we have one nation for every citizen, one national anthem maybe best to not play anything and just play the damn games 2

Blacks keep killing blacks but nothing to discuss on that front because it's racist to bring that fact up. De Blasio on the rising crime in NYC....."This is directly related to coronavirus" so I guess it has nothing with defunding and vilifying the police.

Goon Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 Too many people in Chicago are dying from gun fire. My question is, don't their lives matter? Children are being murdered in cold blood. Quote CHICAGO (CBS) — Nearly 80 people have been shot in Chicago since Friday night this July 4th holiday weekend, and 15 of them have been killed. Twelve of the weekend shooting victims were under age 18. Two of the 12 were killed. Among the incidents were a shooting that left a 7-year-old girl dead while she was visiting her grandmother for a 4th of July party in South Austin Saturday night, and two mass shootings – one of which left four people dead and four more wounded. Around 7:02 p.m. Saturday, Natalia Wallace, 7, was shot in the forehead as she and other children played in the yard in the 100 block of North Latrobe Avenue. She was taken to Stroger Hospital of Cook County where she later died, police said. Natalia was on the sidewalk when a light-colored vehicle pulled up and an unknown number of people exited. Those people then took out guns and fired shots her direction, police said.

Goon Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 Fauci omits context, feeds alarm with warning of 100,000 coronavirus infections a day Quote The first coronavirus case in the United States was confirmed on Jan. 21 of this year. If the U.S. has truly seen 30,000,000 infections over the previous 165 days, that would put the average daily rate of infection at a little over 180,000 cases —80% higher than the worst-case scenario evoked by Fauci this week. That, of course, would be welcome news, if true: Not only would it suggest that the disease is vastly less lethal than many fear, it would also, consequently, indicate that the U.S. can handle significantly higher caseloads of the virus than many currently fear. Some studies indicate that Redfield's estimate might have actually been too low: Serology tests across the globe have pointed to infection rates anywhere from 16 to 80 times higher than confirmed numbers. Even the lower end of those projections would again point to daily infection rates vastly higher than what health officials are recording now.
Walsh Hall Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 In ND for the CONFIRMED cases for people under 60 - 99.82% survival rate. In ND for the CONFIRMED cases for people under 70 - 99.6% survival rate. In ND, given those numbers for the CONFIRMED cases, the fatality rate is probably less than 1 per 1000 in those under 70. health.nd.gov 1
