UND-FB-FAN Posted October 6, 2019 Posted October 6, 2019 Can UND get their first road win of the season? Storylines aplenty given Bubba’s woes against Idaho State. UND needs to win the turnover battle and play a disciplined game (less penalties). UND will win if they do those two things. So everyone knows, Idaho State is 2-3 on the season and recently lost @ Montana 59-20. Idaho State’s two wins are against West Colorado and Portland State. 2 Quote

Montana put a bunch on them and there is no reason we can't put up 45 plus on this team. It's not a hostile environment, it's a big old quonset with a football field. We should have won the games against them in the Alerus. For whatever reason we would control most of the game and they would come back and beat us. I have a lot more confidence this week after what this team showed offensively in the first half last week, they were really good. Consistency is the key moving forward, they've shown flashes offensively (more bad than good) and defensively (more good than bad), but really haven't come close to putting together a complete game from both sides of the ball (together). What's the word on Idaho State, is one side of the ball their strength, or just overall a solid team? Quote

You can also look at: @ Utah - 31 point loss @ UNI - 7 point loss PSU - 27 point win The Montana game is definitely their low point of the year, but otherwise their results look ok to me. UNDColorado Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 UND needs to shore up the penalties. There were a number of drives stalled because of penalties last week. They even overcame a couple penalties to maintain drives but life would have been easier without them. 1 Quote
