My question is 'was it the head coach who brought him into the system and my understanding is has hired him at KU the culpert'?

Ahh, gotcha. Not sure who brought him in.

Someone did/BN didn't just walk in off the street and say I've got some snake oil for you.

Althought you 'can fool some of the people all of the time'

Here's another fact:

Newman pushes a public preworkout, but also has his secret under the table "extra good stuff" he pushes to athletes that's not available to the public.

"Clean Victory" (love the name) but then with a Secret Sauce!!  I love the plot twist.  Is this going to be a Hallmark Movie or more likely ESPN Outside the Lines.  Seriously, the suspense has me on the edge of my seat.  I have been keeping the Jacks apprised of the key details.  They might want to call this in to the NCAA and claim a few National Titles for themselves.

Well, they can always use their snake oil to take the tarnish off the trophies they do have.... they could salvage a small amount of respect coming clean even at this late date.

What we know is NDSU hired a guy that knows a lot about supplements. And even on the board of one.

NDSU player tests positive for banned substance.

Multiple former Bison players instantly know who provided the stimulant.

Reports are it's extensively used thought the NDSU locker room.

I am sure supplements are extensively used at and by NDSU athletes. The University doesnt provide them. So I am also sure not all athletes take the same supplements but know what others do take. So the comment from Mom saying its used through out the locker room meaning supplements---yes that is true. But its also obvious that her son took a supplement that the others in the locker room werent using.

You're ignoring the comment the mom made that the supplement came from a trusted staff member.....so either ndsu, or someone who is considered to be a staff member, provided it or an NDSU hall of fame member is unnecessarily making accusations with seemingly nothing to gain.

The University does not provide pre workout supplements. They do provide nutrition.. Please dont start splitting hairs on wording on the meaning of the words university. Then youre just being disingenuous.

It will be interesting to see if NDSU will be able to win any clean National Championships now in the coming years.

So close. Clean Nationtion Championship Victories was the right answer.

Just a "subcontractor" that NDSU hired provides the illegal (or as pointed out Banned) substance.

Didnt ignore that at all. But that comment does concern me. I think mom is very emotional as she should be.   She has also said some very generic broad brush comments that I will give her a pass on because of the situation.

Now he took an illegal substance?

If that was the truth it would have been a crime. If that was the case HIPPA wouldnt be a consideration and everyone would have know what the illegal drug was and he wouldnt still be in school .

That's right, 'mom' is an emotional wreck too fragile and weak to think rationally in a high stress situation.  I hope you guys keep saying this, it will make it funnier in the end!!

I mean, it took around a month for the Forum to reach out and get a comment, it seems that she has had plenty of time to get herself together and be confident in what she is saying.

Considering she mis-spoke and inferred that all the players in the locker room were taking the same supplement that her son did is very misleading. So yes I am sure she was emotional when she gave her blanket locker room statement. I do not fault her for that. She was just wrong.

For all Bison fans out there who are saying that we are blowing this out or proportion....congrats.  You have [played right into our game.  Most fans will defend their team and program when it is being attacked.  But given the success of the NDSU football program recently, Bison fans will defend their program to the death if there is even a miniscule chance the legacy will be at any way tarnished.

My advise to Bison fans, relax.  Your program is getting some flack from likely an isolated incident. Try not to take it so personally. We are just a rival school giving you some crap about an issue.

Where did she say “all” the players in the locker room were taking it?  I missed that part.

NDSU is talking about the USBank Stadium.  Reusse is calling for an annual opening game between the Gophers and Bison. First at TCF. Next at USBank for NDSUs home field. Gophers would split gate with Bison because USBank is larger.  NDSU is also talking about using larger stadiums for premier FCS matchups.  We get offered Target field in Nov. I think we are pretty far behind the 8 ball on this except for hockey.

I’m quoting what she said was supplied by the university and assuming everything Bison06 is stating about what he took is correct.  Therefore, someone from the university supplied pre workout nutrition.

The person in question may not be an official university employee but you can be guaranteed when a recruit comes in, the services he provides are touted as “we provide a performance coach and motivational coach”.  If you tout what he does in the front end, you can’t not claim him in the backend.  Especially when he is around the program year round.
