This would make sense why Fruechte was named interim head coach knowing his job is secure.

I think it will be a current Division 2 head coach in the Upper Midwest. The criteria points in that direction.

One thing I hope happens with this change is a more robust salary for the whole staff. If we want to belong in the upper echelon of the MVFC we need to pay people like we expect them to win.

Doubt this will be the case. Bolte is really the only name that's been put out there that fits this criteria and I don't see him getting it. 25 (pretty successful) years in Bemidji in various roles isn't all that strong of a resume. Now, could there be a different role for him? That I could see.

Couple of takeaways:

- Bubba's salary won't be what it was as FB coach

- Fruechte applied for HC position

- Bubba will be mentoring other coaches (which opens up some questions, like what's he telling them? "Here's how to consistently lose on the road but never really be held accountable." ??)
