ringneck28 Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 So do we know the opponents for next year? We all know that game one will be a national type of game. Who will it be against? I am toying with idea of going to NY, but may save money for post season games. Quote

Yeah, no reason to cryptically announce anything after such a monumental win. Whatever he or others decide is fine by me because they delivered the goods and then some! 1 Quote

"Tremendous feeling," he said. And the best news of all? He says he will be back against next season. Hope so, but we'll see! 2 Quote

Man, that makes me absolutely giddy for next season. I feel like this group of young men will snowball off one another if a couple of the big boys says they will stay. It's already on record that Jordan has told Nick to stay another year. Quote
NoDakFan Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 I think Stech sticks around too. The guy just bleeds Green and White. Quote
Dave Berger Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Here's my take on chances that players leave: Paul LaDue 95% Nick Schmaltz 65% Troy Stecher 50% Brock Boeser 40% Gage Ausmus, Luke Johnson, Tucker Poolman, Keaton Thompson 10-15% each If this team only loses Paul LaDue (plus Caggiula, Chyzyk, St. Clair, and Sanderson, of course), they will go on another deep run next season. Especially with the West Regional in Fargo. Dave 2 Quote

Odd that the writer doesn't quote him. What's the context? What did Boeser actually say? Seems slightly important. Quote
Scotty Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Re: Stecher My prediction is he's gone. He's just won a championship, and if the Canucks are pursuing him as hard as people have indicated, I don't think he passes that up. Quote
UNDColorado Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 I have a feeling LaDue and Stecher are gone for sure. The others- Maybe bring in Brad's trusty coin? If we only lose those two that is a huge win in my book. Quote

Think Yon and Poolman are 2 of the others that are for sure coming in. Likely see Hoff and Smith come in for forwards too and any others would depend on early departures. Defensively whether another comes in or not will probably depend on who leaves. Seems pretty likely that LaDue will sign and if Stecher does too than you'd need to bring in another one maybe Evers.
