iluvdebbies Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Terrible play by Poganski throwing the puck up the middle of the ice from below the goal line in WM end. Quote
burd Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 WM seems to have decent speed, good size and hustle, but they lack the skill to convert Quote
Popular Post Sodbuster Posted January 31, 2016 Popular Post Posted January 31, 2016 Considering the guys missing, it being at a tough place to play.......I think this was a hell of an accomplishment. 9 Quote
UND-RedSox fan Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 I thought we played well tonight. Carried the play for the most part without our two best forwards and without Stecher for almost half of the game. As long as Stecher isn't hurt long term, this weekend will have ended as well as possible in my opinion. Quote

SiouxScore Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Didn't play perfect by any means but a solid win again tonight. Hafner really kept them in this one as it could have easily turned into a 5-1 type game. Overcame some horrible officiating I think they called 3 penalties on Gersich and I don't think any of them were legitimate calls meanwhile Western Michigan got away with a bunch of holding and interference throughout the game. Off week should give everybody a chance to regroup and heal up a little for the stretch run. Quote

Pat the Rat was perfectly fine as an announcer ... he complimented UND throughout the game. That guy could play. Pretty much hated him. 2 Quote

Thank you! What was the stat Schlossman gave on the only teams to sweep in Kalamazoo in the past whatever is St. Cloud and UND, and doing it without the guys left at home and Stecher in the 3rd, and people are talking about negatives. Blows my mind, and apparently Schlossman's as well. 3 Quote

The ice looked soft, and that makes it hard for us to come up with any breakouts. Being down top players kept us on our heels with mixed lines and Stecher out in the third. Gardner also sat a bit of the third, but was out there to win some faceoffs. Gritty road win, all in all. The team did what it took to win. Simo set up a great Gersich goal, and Brock sniped one when it counted. Six points on the road is a good weekend any time. GO SIOUX!! 1 Quote
runaroundsioux Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 That was one hell of a college hockey game! If WMU had any offensive power they'd be dang good. Quote
bcblues Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Their goalie kept them in it. And they hustle until the end. It is a good thing they can't shoot. Quote
BeazSioux Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Judas. I was watching with no sound on in a bar in Bis. Wasn't aware Stech was out. Any word? Berry give anything post game? Quote

BeazSioux Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 I realize all teams have nicks and injuries, it just seems a little out of control this season. Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Having next weekend off is a blessing for this team; hopefully we'll get most of our guys healed up for Denver. 1 1 Quote
siouxfaninseattle Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Mr. Cam Johnson had a quietly spectacular game. The one that got by him was one he couldn't stop and all the rest he did. Wow! Just a great game. 2 Quote

UND is 6-0-0 at Lawson and 1-1 at the Ralph against the WMU Broncos. I am not sure why UND has played three series at WMU and only one at the Ralph? Video of the goals from tonight's game. Enjoy....
