BIson got manhandled on both sides of the ball. Stick was terrible. Better team won. It will be interesting if they meet again in the playoffs.

Stick hasn't really been asked to actually win a game in his career. He looked out of sorts all day and missed a bunch of throws.

But once again SDSU loses two games earlier so if Turds win out SDSU will have to travel to Fargo.....going to be a huge Coyote and Red Bird fan next two weeks....let's see how dominating the Turds are and how well they travel if they have to travel across the country a couple weeks in a row!!

I am not saying I would like UND to implement either type of offense that Oklahoma or Oklahoma St runs, but if Paul Rudolph were to watch this game, his head may explode while trying to understand the forward movement of the offenses.

Ever since Schleusner went to SDSU they've opened up their offense. He must have brought his xbox down to Brookings....

It was a decent hit, good for a QB.  There should be an amendment to targeting-

"If a QB lights you up, everyone laugh, no targeting."

If that's truly targeting can we just start playing 2 handed touch in college?

Ask a NDSU fan one on one about Stick and you'll get an honest answer..........not the company/homer fan base line.

I love Case Cookus. That's a leader. Love him giving it to the Griz crowd too.

Did anyone watch his replacement by the way?

Stone Smartt is/is going to be a menace for opposing defenses. Big, physical kid that can run and throw.  True freshman from California.

Yikes.

Regarding the Cookus hit, by the letter of the rule that was targeting. It was helmet to helmet contact on a defender that didn't really see him coming at all. If you are going to protect receivers from hits like that, you also have to protect defenders as well. Was it a huge hit? Not really. But any other player would have been tossed for targeting as well and people probably wouldn't blink twice, but since it was the starting QB it's blown up into a big deal. Moral of the story, don't hit people in the head.

You want to prevent what happened to OBrien last year as much as possible? Then all of these hits need to be considered targeting.

So is there a chance he comes to UND to promote ball movement???

I said this last year, no team led by Stick will ever win a title.  He is the most overrated player in FCS.  They are where they are at in spite of him not because of him.  These last few weeks he is starting to show his true colors.

To match our defense?

July 12 2015 you started UND at NDSU Dumpster Fire Thread. It has been locked down. Why? All you see at UND is cuts. Questions about UND going to the Summit and Missouri Valley.

Was UND going to the Summit because the league needed a school?

Why so long to get into the Mo. Valley? Was it so SU could buy some time  to try to move to another conference? The real hardcore SU fans  do not want UND as there main rival. Is that even debatable?

The 2015 Bison would have won that championship in January 2016 over Jacksonville state whether Wentz played that day or not.

Stick has played poorly, no arguments from me. He also has the ability to play incredibly well at times. We’ll see how it all plays out.
