Oxbow6
Sioux come out on fire and don't let up in a 3-1 victory. I think 3-1 is the call as well. No softie by Zane tonight.

scpa0305
We need a real first line tonight, one that will be dangerous every time they touch the ice.
SiouxScore
5-1 Sioux with goals from Caggiula, MacMillan, Stecher, J. Schmaltz, and N. Schmaltz.
Oxbow6
If Zane gives up 3 again they probably will leave Omaha w/o a point.
MafiaMan
If Zane gives up 3 again they probably will leave Omaha w/o a point... ...which will almost certainly result in a "Fire Hak" thread being started before the handshake line is formed. Oxbow6
IMO NS needs to be on a line w Caggs. Hak could go: 29 15 16 8 9 27 3 28 17......with Gaarder line as is. Chyzyk has shown he can fit on the top line.
geaux_sioux
I guess we'll actually have to watch the game since gfhockey didnt start the thread....
90siouxfan
I am not sure which I like more in Stecher and Poolman, but I liked the D corp we were winning with. I also like Johnny Simo in the line up. Glad I am not the coach... #toptiertroubles
Feff
I know Hak wants more than one scoring line, but why has he never gone back to the Caggiula/MaMillian/Parks line that was crazy successful early in the year?
Oxbow6
How can Simo get zero ice time over Murphy vs Niagra and CC yet he is the extra F on this trip? I like his game...too bad he hasn't played lately.

Then your 2nd line would be 29 8 27...& I'd be OK w that. 8 should never be on a line w 28 again.
Emerald joker
Thank you AZ Sioux for starting the thread. Ouch, thats stings. Wasnt going to start it, i partially blame myself for the loss last night. One thing i wish they would do on the pk is challenge for the puck, we lost it a few times last night cuz of that and it seemed like the Sioux held it to long a few times. I think LJ held it for a few seconds last night before he shot point blank, dont know what he was waiting for.
SIOUXELEVENS
Maybe we need to try a different power play, the umbrella is being easily defended lately, try a half wall or down low draw the defenders in then push it back up top, just saying. He struggled last night but overall has played better up front than I think you give him credit for.

As aggressive as UNO plays the PK especially on top the umbrella should work if the puck is moved quickly...tape to tape. A couple times NS got puck in high slot alone and passed further out.
