He says he hopes some good will come out of the retirement, and that Native students can continue to get a good education at UND. And as far as a new logo... "I really don't know what they're going to do, but I'd like a shot at maybe designing the next one!" said Brien. Jealousy is an angry animal. Because none of the other guys can get those 26 year old Canadian recruits? Because we won't give up on the BEST nickname and logo in all of sports! Because NHL gms and coaches have nothing but high praise for the program? There's that jealousy thing again. Or simply in today's world of twits and blogs and Internet anonymity... Haters gonna hate? Jealous of our arena, tradition, team performance and fan support. On the flip side, you may have noticed that there are not a lot of people "hating" on Michigan Tech. We don't even play NDSU in hockey, and yet we have NDSU fans in the hockey forum trying to stir things up. They've got nothing else going on in their lives worthwhile....they may as well come in here and try and piss people off to give themselves something to do.
