What a great story. I have already heard the general story numerous times and I am still not sick of hearing. Hats off to Frattin for making all of the Sioux nation proud.

The "hate" is based on others being jealous. Jealous of our arena, tradition, team performance and fan support. On the flip side, you may have noticed that there are not a lot of people "hating" on Michigan Tech.

Is anybody aware of a video clip on you tube or somewhere else of the "goal"? I missed it and would love to see it.

The fact that the Cepis dive is what sparked the Gophers comeback is what I find most irritating about the loss. They need to start calling diving more. Maybe it is just me, but it seem the Gophers are and historically have been divers. It is one of the main things that annoys me about them.

If they get the first one early, they still have a chance. Stranger things have definitely happened.

I have not been able to find a webcast link. So I am listening to audio only. If anybody finds a webcast just let me know.

I agree the Wisconsin dives are as annoying as all heck, but I am still glad a WCHA team won. I have a friends from out East that are always trying to make excuses for hockey east and consistently claim that hockey east is better than it really is. The fact that the WCHA has won the last 5 National Championships weakens their irrational, annoying banter. That said, I guess we will have to listen to the Badger fans for the next year now.

Does anybody know if there is an internet feed of the UMD/DU game?

Come on Sioux let's get aggressive. Our defense need to be getting very aggressive about pinching. Also, I would be inclined to pull the goalie with many minutes left - no sense in defending the loss.

I happen to be from Grafton, so I might be a little biased. However, I agree that Jesse Lindenberg would be a be good recruit for the Sioux. Not because he is from North Dakota, but because he seems to be a diamond in the rough. He is an extremely talented player that plays a style that helps his team enormously without being too flashy (thus often often being underated, at least in my opinion). I think that he would fill a void in the Sioux defense (not that they aren't good already). He is not huge - I am guessing the he is about 6 feet even and 190 pounds, but having a watched him play a decent amount though the years I have always been amazed with how consistently he is able to the make the safe, intelligent play quickly - especially on breakouts. Drew Sando is good too. Probably not as consistent, but can be explosive at times.

Doing RUSH tickets at Mariucci you miss the first 10 minutes of the game but they have a TV in the waiting area, so it isn't too bad. I expect big games out the both Potulny's and Irmen for the Gophers since I am guessing they will be pretty pumped to be playing in their home state. Still, I think that Sioux will take at least 3 of the 4 points this weekend.
