Exactly. I would be shocked if Verhoeff doesn't get an opportunity next game. Canada's top 6 defenders were meh at best.

Meh is being generous.  Made the Czechs look like the 76 Red Army team at times.

I watched the game but went to bed when it became 6-4. I didn't realize MacKenzie also had 2 assists in the game. Good for him.

I think San Jose decided not to loan Dickinson to Team Canada so hopefully Verhoeff gets officially added to the roster today and plays tonight.

If all of the world juniors guys come back for next year, that team could be special.

Zellers with another goal tonight. He needs more ice time. EJ was out there but limited time, #6 Kleber from Duluth seems to be out there during a lot of scoring chances for opponents imo. EJ hopefully starts taking over his role. 
 

Motzko reluctant to play the UND guys? I know Heil played game one at goalie.

• Crazy the goal difference for Brock Schultz since being traded to Sioux Falls from Waterloo...he's really taken off.
• Simpson crushing it. 5-3-8 in his last 5 games.
• MacKenzie getting a lot of press as the only undrafted player on Canada WJC team.  He'll be drafted this summer for sure.
• Simpson one point off the USHL scoring lead.
