We're always looking for the easy win but these guys are just horrible. Chaves needs to at least schedule respectable teams. I'm not sure what to think about Idaho State. They have never been very good but at least they aren't Long Island University and not on probation. Quote

Big Green Posted June 30 Posted June 30 The schedule is about perfect. You need a couple cupcakes to both pad your record and get the 2nd and 3rd string players experience. We will have a bunch of quality games during the conference season. In FCS football you can't have more than 1 N/C loss and expect to go far in the Playoffs. Having a FBS team on the schedule we need to win all the other N/C games before the Conference season starts. Its important to get a top 4 seed IMO. 4 Quote

Patriot league teams have much easier travel options. Pioneer options are Drake. Butler, Valpo and St. Thomas. We got San Diego a few years ago. But they also have better travel options with Big Sky opponents. Quote

I encourage you to go out to NY in August 2027, check it out, cheer on the team to a crucial DI road victory to start the year then home versus Valpo which I understand is an underwhelming opponent but a good tune up for the following home game the next week versus Big Sky opponent and former FBS program Idaho - nice game the following week will be a Midwest home game versus Iowa, an excellent opportunity vs a Big 10 team not a bad non-conference schedule to be honest 1 Quote
