UND is by far the biggest draw in the Thursday group. 

I'd guess UND is 730 if they are playing.

If it's Merrimack vs QU, they'd probably put MSU vs UW at 730

The last few years all games and the selection show were available on ESPN+, but the selection show was not this year, and ESPN's app does not list ESPN+ as an option for UND v Merrimack. That could change, but I'm not banking on it. Thetvapp.to casting through Castify is my workaround.

I agree. It seems like it has always been locked in.

My tickets show 5:30 pm. Curious why they are changing it.

I was told that this is the first year where ESPN has full control of the game times each day.

Gotta squeeze regional semis and finals games around the latest McKenna biopic and womens hockey recaps. Were you not paying attention to the bracket reveal on Sunday?

Sure miss the old Regional days of 4 games Friday, 6 Games Saturday and 2 games Sunday.

Always considered that Saturday my favorite sports day of the year.

They should shift the regionals back 1 day.  2 Regionals Friday/Sunday and the other 2 Saturday/Monday.  There is already a week off between Regionals and Frozen Four, so there finishing a day later would work.  Would be nice to get a couple more games on Saturday. It would also help with viewership to move away from Thursday games.

Wait!  They could've put Merrimack in Worcester and packed the rink!!!

Exactly...so a #1 seed has an almost true road game in the playoffs against a team that barely snuck in.  Makes all the sense in the world.

Maybe the east teams whining about heading west makes the push for home regionals more of a reality during the coaches get together in Florida.

I've been thinking about this.  Maybe not exactly home regionals, but some sort of change to the format.

I also wish we could go back to the original format. The current structure with a day in-between makes it a lot more difficult to travel to the regional.

Preach on.  Loved spending Friday through Sunday watching wall to wall college hockey on MSC.  We didn't know what we had going.....

Commented on two folks posts about UND playing at their home rink. Let them know it’s 4.5 hours away from grand forks lol. I think the east coast folks are used to being able to travel to a new state in minutes since the size of the states on the east side are so small in comparison to states on our side of the country.

In fairness to the east coast fans being ragged on, while it’s fun to do — we had to endure 10 pages on this forum whining about the screw-job and lack of fairness from the committee, east coast bias, etc…before the brackets were even announced.

All fanbases are biased on what they think is fair, and we’d probably (collectively) be embarrassed if some of those posts were being picked up elsewhere to reflect the “UND victim mentality” around here at times.

Fri/Sat and Sat/Sun is so much better for planning. Extra night stay, day of meals, entertainment, etc with this setup isnt ideal

Plus having to short time the plan from Sunday to Thursday. Gets tight.

 A days drive to and from or a plane to and from. Hard for many fans to swing it.   Put the off week after conference tournaments go Friday Saturday and Saturday Sunday give fans a chance to get there
