It's already looking like 2 NCHC teams will be in at least one regional.
WMU and DU at 4 & 5 puts them together in Loveland.

And, if UMD beats DU next weekend, that might move them to #5 which would mean they'd be paired with WMU.

Still some pieces to move around for sure.

Bibby got by with a missed nut check last week and when reviewed it didn’t meet major status, then got by with a stick to Verhoeff tonight.  Hopefully the third time is the charm and he takes one in the postseason that ends their season.  Duluth had another shot to the nuts earlier in the year that their announcers were shocked wasn’t a major when reviewed, and now I wonder if that was Bibby too.

I know our defense needs to improve, but we also need Špunar to get back to how he was playing earlier this year, not giving up rebounds.  Also need Strinden to get back to his early season form, as now he hasn’t even been able to get off his shot.

We probably want to cheer for Duluth next weekend (maybe we would anyway?  Hard to root for either of them) in case they can move to #5, which would pretty much guarantee they would not be swapped with an eastern team (like Providence).

Yeah, there would be a lot of conference pride, but the NCAA learned their lesson in 2005 when they had WCHA teams in all four regionals and the Frozen Four was the Frozen WCHA.

The conference would have to be 10 to 12 teams to get 5 maybe 6 teams in. With 2 one seeds and 2 four seeds and a 3 and 2 seed

With how the 2 seeds are the two in the West stay in the West the two in the East stay in the East. 

Western being the lowest 1 seed they go to Loveland, Funny how the 2 seeds match up the regionals if they put Michigan and Michigan State in the closer regionals.

Any players who are sick and showing obvious symptoms need to be told not to set foot in REA and especially the locker room for the next week. Tell them to go to class, but otherwise rest and cooperate. They have to flush this crap out of the roster or it will continue sabotaging the team on the ice.
