They said they were having tech difficulties with the new system or something. New Podcast should be out soon.

Great to know that you're willing to steal from the local newspaper, thus driving down the amount of coverage they can provide of the university.

UND had three hockey players/commits go in the first round of the NHL draft for only the second time ever and the Herald couldn't afford to send Brad to the draft for the first time since he's been covering the team. It also affects football coverage.

There's a direct line from your theft to that lack of coverage.

That's an awful lot of text to justify theft. 

When you go to a flower shop, you can look at and smell all the flowers you want. Does that make it right to take a few flowers from the store?

You weren't going to buy a whole bouquet anyway and you can find flowers in nature for free. So, there's no harm in just taking a few here and there from the florist.

I'm pretty sure Forum comms have a $2 for 6 month special.  I buy this time each year for siouxfallslive.com and it gets me regional rags like the inforum and herald.  Cost shouldn't be an issue.

They usually announce attendance for basketball, football and hockey in the post game write up and they say announced attendance

OMG! What a fantastic classy video! I am 79 yo, been a Sioux FB fan since I was a toddler, grew up 6 blocks from old Memorial Stadium and I have never been so excited about UND FB. I  used to ride my bike to watch practices outside Hyslop. Wish I lived closer to GF to watch all this great transformation.

I was not alive when NDSU made the jump or for when anything Mcfeely is talking about happened. Was what he said generally true? And that being said, should Chaves position UND for a FBS move if truly a school like SDSU or the Montanas is debating jumping up too? Genuinely asking.

Kupchella and Thomas made a huge mistake with the decision not to move when the SUs did. Not sure the current situation now with NDSU moving to FBS is the same. But if Montana, MSU, SDSU and USD decide to move then we should probably go too. My 5cents worth.

I fully agree Kuppy and RT made a huge mistake last time.   The big difference now is it probably won't be our decision if we want to move up.  I doubt any conference is looking to add a large number of FCS schools so if anyone is expanding it could very likely just be the Montana's and no one else.   We may as well enjoy FCS for a while and make some noise here.

There was a lot going on at UND at the time. I seem to remember that UND was in the middle of building The Ralph which took a lot of resources. Also during SUs glory years in DII they had the money to fully fund scholarships while most other schools did not, once other schools like UND were fully funded with DII scholarship SU started slipping. Their last few years in DII were well below expectations. Did their move work out - of course.

What is the benefit of joining FBS Football? We already saw what happened to James Madison and how bad they were beaten in the FBS playoffs. UND is probably right where they need to be as far as Division I football goes. Feel free to tell where I am wrong, just saying. Do we really want to go play in a poorly attended mediocre bowl game or compete in the FCS playoffs?
