He was the interim coach before the hiring and kept things together. No one is wishing him ill will. But we can also desire better. Hard for some to differentiate the two around UND, hence the reason we were stuck with mediocrity and Bubba for so long. Anyways, on to the next thing. As said before, hopefully this is a win-win for both parties. 4 Quote

They may be young, but it's a heck of a lot easier to bring kids to an indoor game at the Alerus than freezing your knuckles off at the Huntington. Housing costs and taxes will double too. Based on the last 5 games I surely won't miss him. Now he can join PJ winning 6 bottom feeder games and going to some obscure bowl game that no one watches. How fun! 4 Quote

He was always holding out for Minnesota Gophers, Big 10, or NFL, as his comments indicated. But, to his defense, many would be. Anyways, onward. Big opportunity for UND football, as said. Quote

Don’t have to be critical of individuals and their families while also recognizing a need to move on … this is division I collegiate athletics and the numbers are growing every year. Quote

But it's pretty safe to say that most all be gone in 5 years, including Schmidt if he's done what we hope he does. 2 Quote
